Research & change intelligence

Read the changes between the lines.

Follow the evidence behind voice AI pricing, baseline captures and change research, with clear units, sources and publication standards.

Historical baseline: September 2026.

Earlier captures remain intact. New accepted observations feed profiles, comparison, pricing and research drafts; a draft still needs editorial review before publication.

Our evidence improved.

The September 28 research pass revisited 12 platforms and appended field-level observations and pricing captures. This is evidence history, not a claim that these features launched today.

Open contradictions remain visible in the affected profiles. A vendor reply still needs source and scope review before it resolves a field.

This research queue does not send notifications. Corrections currently use a downloadable draft; there is no live submission intake.

Field note · 27 September 2026

One market.
Very different meters.

Conversation, minute, character, byte and token billing describe different products. The first Voice Ledger release keeps those units visible before asking which option costs less.

Pricing change intelligence

A check becomes a shared record.

Each accepted check updates the same data used by profiles, comparison, estimates and the Price Index. A comparable change also creates a research draft.

  1. Capture

Official URL, timestamp, extracted fact and evidence identifier.

  2. Review

Resolve scope, unit, currency and contradictory claims.

  3. Append

Keep the old snapshot; never overwrite a prior price.

  4. Explain

Review the before/after and buyer impact before publication.

Change publication status

No verified longitudinal price changes have been published yet. This release establishes a baseline.

A same-day research correction or a different plan is not automatically a market price change.

Questions worth taking to procurement.

PRICING METHOD

The unit is part of the price.

A speech engine’s charge excludes the rest of a calling stack. Retain the raw unit, then use a measured usage profile to convert it. If the profile is missing, the all-in number stays Unknown.

EVIDENCE METHOD

A changed page is a lead, not a headline.

Check whether the currency, tier, commitment or promotion changed before publishing a delta. Contradictory official pages remain visible as a research limitation.

TEST METHOD

The appointment must exist.

A fluent call can still fail. A VoiceBench booking test will inspect the calendar record, time zone and duplicate behavior after the conversation ends.
